Forget EiF at that price. Go to naval warfare simulation store instead and buy the WaW pack for 40US. And yes WaW runs under XP but some people have some minor glitches.

It's simply one fantastic game! Buy it.

(WaW means World at War = EiF + Rising Sun + Fall of the Reich expansion + 1.03 rules + ...)

I have Europe in Flames, and I second Jane Doe's suggestion.
The WaW release is newer I believe.

For reference sake though, Europe in Flames contains West Front Combat Pack and East Front 2 on a 2 cd set. I had to get Rising Sun as a seperate purchase.

Only XP trouble I ever experienced was remembering to put it in 16 bit colour mode if I recall.

Bostonrpgmania,

I know your enthusiastic, however I suugest you have just one or two games to start with and get to know them. It takes a long time to master one good operational game. If you keep buying one after the other you will never actually play any of them enough. Or you will just stick with one and never get around to playing the others.

Stick with BiN for now. Or if you have to buy another game which you really have an interest in the area of operation.

All these games will be aroud for awhile yet. No need to rush. IF you do you will never really learn one system let alone all of them.

Hi Wodin
Thank you for your tip
Indeed, I need to stick to one but.....
too tempting not to play other good games [:)]
My new interest in wargaming ignited by KP and matrix is responsible for all the money I spent on war gaming ever since[:)]
Matrix, do you hear me?! Give me some coupons [:D]
BTW, thank you very much for your tips while I was playing SB. I will certainly return to that game in near future
Unfortunately I wasnt attracted to that game as I did with KP...(or Bin) but maybe that's beacuase of my lack of understanding of the game mechanics of SB series.
Certainly I will give it a second try in near future

Thank you Jane and Hexed gamer
Yep I think WaW is much better since it contains EiF as well.
I have rising sun but WaW seem to come with Fall of the Reich
