I'm back!

Post by Sky_walker »

I was a little bussy (school...), but now I'll try to be more regullar.
I was working on Cold Space MOD, but I resign from it, and now I'm working on Star War MOD called Republic Assault. It will take place between 1 and 3 episode. I hope that you'll like it, first publication will be soon (friday, or saturday). It will be 4 MB .rar file with .dat and .chm file inside. I'll make web page later and i want to ask you if you know any free neutral redirection of adresses (without country part like .pl)?

Hello Luke, welcome back![:D]
In what concerns free url direction, there is this one that I use for free : http://www.cjb.net/.

In what concerns your mod I sugest you register with www.starshattercentral.com and that you put your work there as it is free [:D].
This site is the premier comunity website for Starshatter fans and we are currently accepting files for download (.zip format for missions and mods are accepted only in the .dat format, as it is the easiest for the final user).

Good luck with your work!

Good luck with your work!

downloads have to stay for registration

you email everything to StarshatterCentral@mariopaz.com

nm

I was thinking of something else, you can download without regging, you cant upload pictures or post on the forum

and you dont have to be in dat, its up to you, some people who cant figure out how to use non-dat mods just wont be able to use them, but ssc has no policy about dats and never will.

Yeah you can compress the .dat files and eventually a readme file into a zip format, no problem. We just insist that the mod itself be on the .dat format, as it is the most user friendly for the player that has linited/average computer knowledge. [8D]
