The origional steel panther allowed you to fight as the germans from 1939 onward. Is there a specific scenerio or campaign that allows that?

Thanks

also, I watched again Enemy at the gates, is there a scenerio for that?

The WWII campaign (located in the campaign screen) allows you to fight from your starting point up until the end of the war. A long campaign can simulate this as well, if you ask for around 66 battles.

Plenty of battles in and around Stalingrad, none work in the sniper duel though.
thanks, John.

The WWII campaign starts with the select side and adjust date screen. Then it moves to the pick theater screen. If you pick western Europe it jumps to 1940 and the invasion of France without giving you the bennefit of the upgraded hardware (and there was much changed between Sept 1939 and May 1940).

I also like starting with the early years. I have to buy a lot of marginally effective units, but I get to upgrade later, and the starting cost is lower.

Probably more than you needed to know, but occassionally I know an answer and like to express them. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

War is unhealthy for die-stamped cardboard and other paper products.
