Did you patch up to 7 or install from Mega Cd's? If from Mega CD's its not required, because all newer full install beginning with 5.3 (I think it might be ver 6) have the new sounds. You can also download it form here Edome Net

I downloaded the original 4.5 from this site over a year ago. Just last month, I did the step by step upgrade from the download site up to 7.0, but did not use the mega campaign. What should I do? Thanks for your help.

Try downloading the sound file from there. The Megas are add ons to SPWAW which can be purchased from the Matrix store or one of it's distibutors. They're $24.99 for each (3 available) each comes with the MegaCampaign and free full version of SPWAW. Lost Victories and Watchtower both have version 7.0 and Desert Fox came with version 5.3 For now it sounds like you just need an uncorrupted sound zip file. Try from edome first than we'll go from there.

Was you original donwload attempt from the Matrix download site? If not try there, but I'll look for alternates. Here is a direct link to the Matrix ftp for downlaoding. The first attempt may have just gotten corrupted. Matrix updated sound files Matrix Sound update
