LV and PBEM

Post by madclicker »

I've read (can't remember where) that it's possible to play the LV campaign against a human player (using PBEM)?

Is it confirmed ?
If so I would buy it without delay otherwise ... I will probably think a bit more.
I'm always soo disappointed by the attacks launched by the AI !

Thanks to all, this forum is a mine of useful information.

Yes acts like a PBEM with the option prior to battle to choose your side. This was an added feature with the release of ver 7.0

thanks a loot gmenfan !

I look forward to play the russian in this campaign even if it's not specially designed for this side (so I heard). I'll try to be an honest challenger for my PBEM foe !

It works in Hotseat mode, IE it is unsecured game.

I can just say that Germans have it hard if other side is human, its possible but it takes more than average player to get hands on Germans... LV is hard as is and harder it gets by head to head. But doing it is ok.

OK Skukko, is it possible to use a balancing of some sort that you would think off to insure a good playability for the german ?

I mean lowering the quality of russian troops via the preference screen or something like that ?

I would not like to turn a good campaign into a challenge that is not playable.

yes, you can use preferences, but it is hard to see who would like to play after that... But you can't edit LV itself...
