1/6/1942

A generally quiet day on all fronts. The usual activity in China and MAlaya. The usual bombardment in Lingayen.
No naval activity to speak off.
The calm before the storm.
Appear at places to which he must hasten; move swiftly where he does not expect you.

Yet Singapore stands.. Gotta love a b17 raid netting some very beat up ap's!
In other news: ? not much, the drive on Goergetown... and Moulmaein falls.. not much defense here..

AP NEWS
The valient defenders in the MAlay penninsula continue their herioc stand.. Singapore sends out ships and planes daily harassing Jap troopships and other foolish forces. The forces under General MAcAurther in the Phillipines remain in controll of much of the Island. The Air force ported a large strike in the South pacific damaging many jap vessels by heavy bombers.

K raids Canton IS. destroys or damages air assets there and is on a roll in Maly...

China is a slow grind for him ..
PI? again not much
Solomans looks good, maybe he isn't going to attack there till after he takes the SRA? nothing in SRA/Borneo...
I am a little concerned about his fighter pre war superiority bonus, or else my new carriers would immidiately seek out and destroy these nasty little raiders!!!

come June we will have some serious cv battles!
