Just move the CV to a port with over 20K supplies, and it will refill its squadrons from the replacement pool. [Similiar as air groups]

Later in the war, the allies can replenish pilots and a/c from select CVE's while at sea.

These CVE's will have air groups that are listed as VR for replenishment. Form a replenishment TF with them instead of, or even with AO and AE's and replenish your ships.
