I check 30 times a day for the patch.

I hate to keep playing with the leader bug.

We want the patch!

I suspended playing on 1.3 when the leader bug re-surfaced there.
I'm running out of jokes...

This is unofficial but I asked Mike the same question yesterday. He says the version is in test and he thought it would probably be out by the end of the week. Delays can happen, so don't hold us to that. I asked him if he had solved the leader bug, and his answer was that he had fixed every instance of leader bug for which he had been sent a save. In fixing these he found another instance that he fixed. This does not mean they are all gone though, but it should be an improvement.

Thanks, Joel.

And thanks for getting into computer wargaming back in the day. Always was a big fan of SSI back then. I never thought back in 85 that i'd be able to thank you personally, albeit through this forum, for all the fun I had with those early SSI favorites. Mech Brigade, Guadalcanal Battles, North Atlantic '86, Pool of Radiance, Curse..., oh, oh, and Imperium Galacticum, I think it was called.

And thanks for what you've done since those days as wel.

Not that I'm NOT waiting eagerly for the patch... but I too would like 2nd all that Thumonator said. Thank you, the steel panther series really did me in back in college... in a good way[:)].

p.s. now where's that patch?

What impact will the patch have on games in progress? Do you have to start over if you apply the patch?

No, it does not require a restart. As always, database changes do require starting a new game, but there's nothing in the game changes that will mess up ongoing games, just enhance them. [8D]

I'm glad I'm not the only one! [:D]

And I'll join in all the thanks to Joel and the team, too: well done, all of you, and thanks for continuing to make the game even better! [&o]
