Post by AllWorld »

i noticed in the screenshots that all of the players look the same none of them have gloves, wristbands, spats etc. so my 1st question was in create-a-player mode r all of these options available to customize our player? my 2nd question is in the indoor football mode r the rules exactly like arena football? i mean do some players go both ways and r there OS and DS?

I noticed in the screenshots that all of the players look the same none of them have gloves, wristbands, spats etc. So my 1st question was in create-a-player mode r(are) all of these options available to customize our player?

You can add these things by changing the bitmaps that make up the player. The 'Create-A-Player' mode (as you refer to it) doesn't work like other games. It is basically a Windows dialog that allows you to edit the database record for that player. You can assign some things graphically such as the face and skin textures (here you could select one with tape on the elbow or the like) and the players face mask.

My 2nd question is in the indoor football mode r(are) the rules exactly like arena football? I mean do some players go both ways and r(are) there OS and DS?

No. These are not Arena Football rules. Many of the rules of Arena football are protected by patent and no game can use them without a license from that league. Maximum-Football uses the rules of 'generic' 8 man indoor fooball (I guess like the PIFL or those leagues).

I'm not sure what you mean by 'OS' and 'DS' but you can have players go both ways if you've set your depth chart up that way. The computer can autofill a depthchart for you but it won't use iron man rules. The computer will use defenders as defenders for example. If you want to use iron man rules, you'd have to manually edit your depthcharts. That's fairly easy as it's drag and drop players into positions.
