Game lock-up problem

Hi Everybody

I have noticed on more than one occasion, if I accidentally hit the 'Y' key while I am in the process of moving, the game completely locks up and I have to use the task manager to end it.

I am running XP Pro, true intel motherboard I forget the speed.
GeForce 4 video.

I do use a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Also, I use the quick-start and have seen the screen black-out phenomenon.

Are there any recommended parms for XP?
