PBEM question

I am playing my first PBEM game.

I did the initial setup, bought my troops, and saved using slot #4 (I think) I sent the files to my opponent. He did his purchasing and setup and sent the files back. I moved his files into my email folder and fired up the game. So now I setup my side, hit the magic button and complete my first turn, I saw a message about autosave, but never got to select a slot, or enter a name. Does the game automatically save in the same slot? Or is it the slot labeled email save (0,1, or 2)?

Or does it use the files in the EMAIL folder?

Once a save file for a game is set up - thats it, you cannot rename it.

The game automatically updates the files (email4 in your case) without prompting. Keep sending email4 as your turn reply.

As a hint - check the timestamps on the files you send to make sure they're current and uncorrupted.
