What is the best turn length for an email game? I've been using one day turns and the dead time is considerable.

Personal preference. I can only play 1 day turn. Too much of a control freak and micromanager.

Just get a bunch of other PBEM games going. Then you will always have a turn coming in or going out.

Personal preference is the correct answer.

There are a number of us, although I think the minority, that play two day turns. Lets things happen more quickly, instead of waiting two weeks for that TF to cross the map you only have to wait one week [:)]

Hi, I have a nice head of hair. If I ever tried to play more then 1 day turns I'm sure I would pull it out. Most of my PBEM games do more then 1 turn per day. And I have enough that from 8am to 2am I am doing turns. (If I could stay awake 24/7 I would have turns 24/7

I'm not retreating, I'm attacking in a different direction!
