More India and Indian Ocean

Post by Warpup »

One of the worst problems with PacWar was the board edge problem on the Bay of Biscay and India front. The British had the flexibility to move their battle fleet to many possible bases further west in the Indian Ocean when threatened by the Japanese. The British also had a rail net in India which could move supplies from west coast ports such as Karachi to the east. There must have been numerous airfields along the east coast of India which could have been used to cover Ceylon and coastal convoys with air power. Hopefully, WitP will include all that.
