Well Duh Emperor K, Palmyria is in range of four e planes, which are rolling off the assembly line even now... how about a round of unescorted aks attacked at 1000? or did not all those beat up tf at Singapore teach you nothing? the Victory disease has obviuosly gotten into your green blood! oh.. you will escort them.. hehehehehehehehe
great.. maybe you should attack PH? that would solve all our problems in that area...]
and in other news.. damned Jap CA.. I think these guys when placed in well commanded tf's are the best most effective early war ships avail...

[:D]As the first phase of operations winds up. (The philippines are not that important in the great scheme of things) Operation Tako Gyouten proceeds along nicely.
China is more of a problem. The commie b$stards in N. China have decided to retake Yenen. They have gobs and gobs of Chinese coolies smashing themselves against my heroic defenders. Must do something about that.[X(]

PS: Freeboy has decided to take off to consult with his in laws ...ahem, Chiefs of Staff who are meeting in Florida. Yeah right[8|] Dugout Dan and all that....
So no more AARs until the New Year.
Happy Co-prosperous New Year for one and all!

I am back, and will return to P soon.. very soon we will be attempting to draw the fleets of the rising skunk into our waters... where we can tag team them with lba and cv.. but carefully so that the cv are sunk and not just damaged and if he risked bb they too take so damage... in mid 42 a 1- 1.5 loss ratio in favor of the japs is fine by me... I also see a fight around pearl advantageous in that our brave ships can scurry home if damed and not sunk....
in the far flung China theatre our coolies continue to inflict harm...
and while attention is focused on Singapore Rabaul still remains as does the rest of the solomons.. perhaps K will ataack Midway?

Freeboy is trying something in Yenen. That's fine with me; that place is too far from my lines to defend effectively at this time. Once the Burma road is cut, then my majesty shall start attacking China earnestly.
Meanwhile the action in Jonhnston Island begs the question: What was that AO doing there? Is he trying some Hanky Panky on Kwajalein?
Meanwhile operation Agehachou is assembling its resources.

Now I'm beginning to get intersted. An AP, two cruisers, one of them heading for the bottom. Is this the vaunted invasion of Palmyra?[&:]

One of the Betty groups has been stood down for R&R, despite the protests of its pilots (Morale 98) and a new Betty group from Kwajalein (Exp 78 Morale 99)has been flown in to allow the newer pilots some shots at the enemy.

RE: The death of Isolationism! Kaleun vs freeboy

Post by kaleun »

Well, freeboy decided that discretion is the better part of valor, and has withdrawn his cruisers from Jonhston. My recon only shows PT boats there now. His bombers found the waterboys and hit it hard; the ships should make it back though.
I still wonder at his intentions in North China.
The assault on Singapore is getting ready to commence.
