Maximum nummer of units

Post by Thomas87 »

Hello!

Since the Greek operations were performed on a grander scale than Market Garden, I was wondering what the maxmum level of operations, you are in commnand of, is?? Like, will you command an Corps or Army?? Or, will you be restricted to one division??

There are a couple of scenarios where you command a Corps. The game really can't handle more units than that without slowing to a crawl. One thing I found while researching, was that although the total forces involved were pretty big, when the actual fighting occurred it was usually fairly small engagements - there were only a few battles where even a whole division from either side was engaged. I think the largest-scale scenario is Malta 1942 where you have several Axis divisions attacking a four-brigade British/Maltese garrison.
