Vaus vs Sacorsair SAY UNCLE

Post by sacorsair »

This is an AAR for SACORSAIR(A) vs VAUS(J)

Scen 26

Historical off

Dec 7th Surprise on

Subs Docs off

Allied Damage on

+/- 15 Reinforcements

Fog Of War on

1 port attack 7 Dec and no allied moves except TF at sea.

I will highlight in BLUE my comments. Over all my basic first 3 week plan is to become Jesse Owens, Carl Lewis, and Jackie Joyner Kersey all in one !!!!! Operation Track and Field.

All was normal movement for the Japanese with one disturbing exception which are landings near Lea.

OK, Ill do mine in pink so they stand out.

NOW THAT MOST OF MY SHIPS ARE OUTA HARMS WAY FOR THE MOMENT I CAN KINDA LOOK AT WHAT WILL GO WHERE. I AM SERIOUSLY THINKING OF THE PoWALES TO GO ON CV PATROL DUTY WITH THE AMERICANS FOR HER AA PROTECTION ALTHOUGH SHE WILL SLOW US DOWN SOME HOWEVER THE TRADE OFF IS WORTH IT AT THIS STAGE I WOULD THINK. VAUS IS BEING VERY QUICK INHITTING KEY LOCALS EARY AND BYBASSING UNDEFENDED POINTS WHICH I HAPPEN TO AGREE WITH YOU CAN ALWAYS BACK FILL LATER.

Haapy New Year everyone!! Well we are back up and running after a holiday break. Things have slowed down alot of the Allied saie I think it is the quite before the storm. Yes I am nuts enought to attack Truk in the first week of the war but seem to have gotten away clean. I hope this we make my opponent think more bout what I am or am not going to do I want to keep him guessing.
