Counter Graphics

Post by sabre100 »

Sorry another question, there was a mention in a previous post that there will be 2 graphics for the counters?? Not sure one using NATO symbology. Can you post a screenshot of both counter types?

Also is this game still slated for a Jan 2005 release as Erik mentioned in a previous post?

Thanks all appreciate the info

I can't comment on the release date - all I know is the list (of minor issues) is smaller and smaller.

The counters do look good - I'm always torn between using the silhouettes which look great and the standard which give you more info on the unit.

Anyway - you think those are nice - you want to see the smoke, explosions and nukes!!

I definitely love the silhouettes style that is sweet and pleasing to the eye at least for me. I can only imagine the rest of the game this is great and cant wait for this to hit the online store.

Thanks

Hmm, something looks wrong with those map graphics. Maybe the screenshot application did some harm to them [;)]

Oleg - It was a scenario that started at night.

And yes, Marc, apologies for the graphics. I had to reduce the resolution to post them. Be sure the graphics in this game are fantastic. The poor quality here is not representative of the game.

(oops - should've said that when I posted them!)

I must say I do like the silhouettes, they remind me of Mech Brigade on the C-64. There was a game I played the heck out of! One of my all time favorites.

Awesome. What was the ordnance, I am guessing an artillery delivered nuke, maybe a 0.75 or 1 kt yield? Not a Scud I would think, but what do I know.
