The Japanese keep massing troops at their landing ports in the Philippines. This is allowing MCArthur some breathing space to reorganize his troops.

A piece of good news, a British transport TF has been able to rescue the 2nd ISF Base force from Georgetown. Meanwhile, a progressive defence of Malaya is planned.

Tuguererao had been evacuated before the Japanese advanced on it. War plan Orange 3 is in effect, thus it was decided to withdraw forces, rather than let them expend supply and lose equipment in disorderly withdrawals.
As for Georgetown, I'd hoped it would last a little longer. It was a useful place to stage aircraft out of.
No sign of KB as yet. (shudders)
Both Lexington and Enterprise have reached the West coast, where they are being "repaired" Saratoga is at an undisclosed location, and Adml Halsey is busily hatching plots.
Not much action otherwise, so I'm not going to post the AAR[8|]
