Tin Soldiers Review: DIY Games

Post by JosephL »

DIY (Do-it-Yourself) Games recently did a review of Tin Soldiers. The reviewer had a couple good comments I thought I would post.
"The CPU opponents are good and the game has a unique style to it"
I totally agree, the AI makes me cry sometimes [:(]
Gaugamela has a big army; mostly terrible soldiers, but there’s a lot of them. It would be fun to try them in the single player game.
I think it's good when reviewers make suggestions that are understandable. Of course, not every feature can make it into every game but I would like to point out that both Matrix Games and the guys down at Koios do read suggestions and take them seriously [:)]
there is enough challenge here to keep me looking forward to their next offering.
I too look forward to seeing what Koios has to offer next!

In the end it scored a 3.5/5, a respectable score. I do feel the reviewer was a little harsh both penelizing and praising the game's difficulty, but otherwise an enjoyable review. Thanks DIY GAMES!
