Post by brent_2 »

I'm finally selling this. It has taken me some time to come to grips with losing it.
Advanced Squad Leader

This collection includes the following:

Rules V1 + extra chapters and DIY info in second binder (the original was never big enough)
9 modules - see below...
38 mapboards - all the included ones from the various modules and INCLUDING SOME EXTRAS AND THE ORIGINAL 1-4 FROM THE ORIGINAL SQUAD LEADER!
All of the scenario cards from all the modules (too many to count...)
All of the counters. MANY UNPUNCHED
The modules include:

Beyond Valor
Paratrooper
Yanks
Partisan
West of Alamein
The Last Hurrah
Code of Bushido
Gung Ho
Croix de Guerre.
So you have the US, German, British, Japanese, Russian, Chinese etc etc etc...

MANY OF THE COUNTERS ARE UNPUNCHED AND IN AS-NEW CONDITION!! Many of the map overlays are still uncut from the card. The picture below shows counters from Gung Ho! and The Last Hurrah! Many more remain in the original cards also! MUCH OF THIS COLLECTION HAS NOT BEEN USED!!!
the whole list here!

theres other stuff there too....please go through and find something you like!

welcome to my virtual yard sale - I'm moving and it's gotta go! I add more stuff every day
I'm essentially graphically and history oriented, unfortunately to connect the two I have to do maths. I hate maths.

Phew, I thought you meant an Age-Sex-Location list for telemarketers or something....

Fairly Typical Id say for an approx 20 game mostly AH collection. Nato is probably the oddest, least common one. I remember the Pink(ish) Box Cover against the Black but have difficulty remembering much else about that one. I may not have played it but seem to remember doing so.

Stellar Conquest is not a bad game at all. AH definitely had far worse when it came to Fantasy/Sci-Fi games. Not a pretty game by any means, but decent gameplay none-the-less.

The likes of Panzer Leader/Luftwaffe but not Panzer Blitz... is different. [:)] As is 2nd Fleet but not 6th. So you probably didn't absolutely fall in love with either. [:(]

No Blitzkrieg, No Up Front, No MBT, I'd could go on and on, hehe you missed out on some good ones for sure.

And then there are the non-wargame AH gems like Adv. Civilization, Titan, Brittania, Kingmaker, etc.

Hopefully you got to play a few more titles than you owned though its still a very nice set of games (any predominately AH/VG collection would be in my book). [:D]

I have played Up front and Panzer Blitz and a few others

I had a group of about 5 friends who played in junior high 7-9th grade we shared the cost of games and had a ton. I had to move to Pittsburgh in 10th (my mother and father made me:) by than we were down to just myself and one other kid that played each weekend
we just split up the games we had and that is what I got
