boardgames

Post by Error in 0 »

I was looking for my next "Lone wolf and cub" book when I saw a board game called World in Flames. I believe I have heard this was THE WW2 era boardgame to play. But how is this as solitaire play? If im correct the box said "very good for solitaire", but is this not a hyper complex, grand theather game?

Also I saw the new Axis & Allies game: D-Day. Has anyone played this one yet? Is it juat a hype, not worth the money?

Yep, it is highly suitable for solitaire play and yep it is complex. However I do think it is worth the effort to try it. I only played it once about half a decade ago ago and I remember I liked it. It took quite some time for me to fully understand the game however. I must say I like squad leader more, but that is probably because I like tactical level games more than the strategic ones.
