Political Intervention

Post by Greg Daulton »

I'd love to see this game include a strong political intervention model. By this I mean the kind of outrageously stupid 'orders from on high' which military leaders on both sides had to contend with. Is there some way for the game to include this?

I agree. That would be a good option to have. Just make sure that it is a toggle switch option that can be turned on or off as there are time when I AM the high command! Image

Yes, I agree with this option.
My suggestions are:
a) list of (asigned, non-asigned) leaders (corps), possibility of replacing them if you not satisfied with them; or if are they KIA. Of course, non-asigned leaders should be less-expirienced.
b) possibility of re-equipment divisions. For example: when you start op. Barbarossa, your Panzer divisions are equip wth Pzkw III, IV. So when comes stronger tanks, you can distribute them trough your divisons. As you wish..
c) Casualties shoud be display during the campaign and at the end - KIA,surrenders, losses in armour, planes, guns...
d) I hope that all of the german allies would be incoporate: Finns, Italians, Rumunians, Slovaks, Spanish Blue division, and dont forget - Croatians (369. regiment - this unit was used mostly in the battle of Stalingrad )...
e) good supply distribution.
