is there some sort of newbie guide available?

Post by AngelWuff »

I've played the game for a month or so, and got down how to move, shoot, and occasionally thump things silly. But I still don't know how some of the more advanced gear and weapons work, especially linking sensors, and guided missiles always seemed to have really low to hit scores except for flukes... was curious if there was some sort of FAQ or helper guide for this game available?

Try this:

tm.asp?m=675492

Also, hit F1 in the factory when the mouse is over the name of any piece of equipment or weapon, you'll get a help screen. The manual and the tutorial also help to learn a bit more about stuff.

Thanks a ton for answering all my questions. wasn't posted in here, but on the failing mission, didn't want to eject as my luck with rookies ejecting is less then I'd like, especially ones enjoying a relaxing lay down on the ground =, Will have to see about slamming in some games and maybe trying writing an AAR or two...

Improving the Survival skill will help with ejects. Ejecting on a burning hex is a BAD thing BTW. [:D]
