Digital Download

Now the price looks more like it at 16 quid for the download I might get it.

If my PC goes belly up I loose the game as well though?

We advise burning a backup copy to disc once you complete the download. In addition, within the first thirty days of purchase, you can re-download the game if you've lost the installation file. After that, you have to contact us at support@matrixgames.com to get it re-enabled.

The price for 2005 is indeed reduced from the 2004 price. We're hoping this will get more folks interested in this title which, while from a new developer and on a relatively rarely covered topic, is an excellent game (check the reviews if you don't believe me). [;)]

That's great, thanks Erik. As long as I am able to get the download re-enabled I can't see any problems. Downloading now!

If I understand this correctly I can burn my own CD but I have to pay extra to be able to do this? Why would I want to if I can just download it again once I have asked Matrix to re-enable my download? Just to save the hassle (1 hour) of download time?
Cheers, Chris

You don't have to pay anything extra to burn your own CD, but if you are not ordering a physical copy, we recommend burning a backup of your download to a CD in case it accidentally gets deleted, you reformat your drive, etc.

There is always the option of ordering a physical copy as well from our store, which is a professionally printed DVD box and full color printed CD with the installer on it. This is for folks who either don't have CD Burners, don't have a fast internet connection or who simply prefer a nice looking box and CD to have on hand to re-install from and keep for the future.

You can order just a download, a download + a box or just a box, as you prefer. The only option that costs extra is the printed box.

No, when you only choosed the "digital download" version you´re grnated the right to make one personal backup copy on CD or DVD. With your home burner.

When you purchase one of our titles you have the option (for most of our games) to order a physical version. Which comes on a labelled CD with in a labelled DVD box. This service is charged the extra ammount.

It is up to you which option you pick.

I thought when I downloaded my copy there was a box next to the download that said
'Burn your own CD for 5.99'

I didn't pay it much attention - just assumed there was some copy protection stuff that one had to pay 5.99 for.

As long as I'm registered and can download again if my PC were to die, I'm happy as is.
