I've just lost 11 hurricans due to naval bombardment of Tokyo....

I found a small bug... I made a US navel bombardment of tokyo and I lost 11 Hurricans II on the ground ???

I have no idea how or why Hurricans II are placed on the Tokyo airfield...

I'm have patch 1.40 installed

This Tokyo bug isn't just about navelbombardment, on an air attack with only Flying Fortress and Libarator, I still lost some Hurricans and Beaufort V-XI in the attack... ???

Could someone please tell me if it's a known bug...

Scenario? Were there any Hurricanes flying escort? Where did the bombers fly _from_?

I'm playing scenario 15 "War in the Pacific". Not that I with the random start did much better... I lost 2 BB's in Pearl Harbor.

But never mind. The firste attack, the navelbombardment toke place on the 13/8-42 and were purely US surface ships attacking Tokyo. All british Hurricans were stationed in either Singapore, Saigon or Camranh Bay. All british Hurricans are on 90% CAP due to lack of suitable targets within thier limited reach. The only attack wich included Hurricans on this day were a Japanese attack:

The massive airattack by Flying fortress and Libarator toke place on 18/9-42. The planes toke off from Iwo Jima. After stratigic bombing Japan for some time the losses of planes grew. So I launced a massive airattack against the airfield of Tokyo. On this day the were 2 events that included Hurricans:

Hey.

I actually found why I'm lossing planes in navelbombardment or airfield attacks of Tokyo in scenario 15. Look whats placed in Tokyo.

Either they are captured planes and need to be destroyed or there is a bug with the allied reinforcement of planes in scenario 15. Both Hurricans II and Beauforts V-IX are by acident beeing placed in Tokyo and therefore subjected to attack and destruction. The planes I've lost on the ground in Tokyo due to airfield attacks or navelbombardment counted in the overall scoreboard of lost/killed planes.

Yae, seems we have a bug with control ... stuff at staging bases seems to get taken over even after the staging base is taken by the other side.

I've by the way never captured Tokyo, so it's more or less always like this.
