Carrier Strike - Gary Grigsby's

Post by Kyle_Roku »

Yes I still want to play it in Windows. Does Anyone know if there is a sound patch to enable it to work in Windows. I know its a longshot and a venerable game, but I would so like to hear the critical explosions when i torp a carrier.

Please excuse the post outside of Pac War, but it is somewhat related to the same. Thanks for any help in advance. [:D]

Try DOSBOX at:

I got Silent Hunter I, V4V, Stalingrad and Gold,Juno, Sword to run on it.

I say sink them all! Silent Hunter is a disappointing game, it is incredibly hard!

Also damnit my campaigns are not going to well! I should vent elsewhere.[;)]

Hi !

Silent Hunter (I and II) is really a bit tough, but I consider it playable and quite enjoyable.
The SHIII should be perfect, if its www says truth. The only thing in SH2 that devastated my enjoyability was the campaign queue. How can it be possible to repeat a mission until it was done ?? [:-] quite funny

Please try Command: Aces of the Deep. The best U-boat simulation I've ever seen. The graphics is bad, very bad, but the playability is 200% for me.

Good luck Herr Kaleun !

There used to be a user program where you could upload Pacwar data into Carrier Strike and play out your wildest dreams in CS. Unfortunately, you couldn't upload the results back to Pacwar, but it was still lots of fun.
