This looks very interesting indeed.

Turn based tactical game of the Russian anti terroist force ALPHA.

I never played Jagged Alliance ( though I wish I had from reports) I bypassed Silent Storm due to the Sci Fi bit ( why did they do that?? Havent seen any mods for it either....shame) this howver looks like one I will keep my eye on.

I like both Jagged Alliance 2 and Silent Storm.[:)],but my preference goes defenitively to JA2.[8D]

As to Silent Storm, the sci-fi stuff really isn't that out of place - the rest of it is hardly a "realism" game, either. Take it for what it is (a fun, X-Com style game with super graphics) and not what it isn't (anything to do with realism) and you'll enjoy it. I'd pick JA2 over S2 also though; S2 can get a little repetitive but JA2 never did.

game looks good definately, something you couldn't accuse JA2 of, but i get the impression that its kinda Tom Clancy structured storylines. The thing that set JA2 apart for me was you could literally pick your battles and cut your cloth to suit your overall needs. Not to mention marry off one of your mercs to a red-neck farmer for a pair of night vision goggles.
