Well he took tawara, didn't put much of a fight up for it. He still is not close to the defense wall. He has more and more planes every day. but what are you going to do. I wonder how he can fly a lot of planes in China. were is he getting the supply from to fly a bunch of heavy bombers and feed his troops. As he has seen I have started a mini offense in China to get him to burn supply, so maybe he can not fly as much with them. The score who cares, I know he will end up with more than me. I just want to make his victory hard and see if I can hold him to under 2 to 1.

I need three more flattops, and some better BB's and some of these are in port getting overhauled from that terrifying raid by Rabaul where Z beat me up....
I am really wishing I had another 35 500 dakota supply planes... using lrb for supplying on the edge bases, US or over the hump, China is wastfull!

Score finally breaks into the be;ow 3-1 ratio.. YEH[:-]
ok, He really has exacted a steep price... fortunately essex didn't sink in port like Hornet.... bloody shipyard! so now I am advanving up the coast towards Wewak-allot..
and I spotted some more shipping along the Northern coast.. with almost all the Island South of Truk in possetion, just waiting now to build/capture the locations needed to pumell Truk as I have the rest of the area... 350 4e's are a tough force for any nippo commander... My Subs have not scored nearly high enough kills.. not sure how all that oil is getting to Japan.. maybe the secret undersea pipeline[X(].. next 8-12 months will see a vigorous attempt to cut the Jap merchents down to size

Reorganization and follow up as I now have two bases to attack from, at least when they are cleard and rebuilt, and TRUK will soon be seeing bombers... Just sent a raid on Kweijelien from Tarawa.. I wonder how that will work out...
Soon we will see Essex out from her visit to the west coast for some needed tlc.. Marching up the coast of NG, what fun... after we start pounding truk, RB will fall as well.. putting the pieces for that in place, and looking forward to my new front offensive that will open up Indonesia.. Borneo to attack.. but that will in all likelyhood be quite some time away

Can you believe the balls on these carrier dudes in the NG arrea, getting into it with 200 twin engine fighter and medium bombers out of Lae? WOW, that takes guts... and of course my piulots are now seasoned veterans and will actually fly, as opposed to earlier at smaller base they adamently refused to fly.. now if we could actually do some damage!

started druelling when I saw Akagi over there....
the raids are suppressing Kj and soon TK too.. my fleets are in a massive redeply and I am marching on RB, don't feel like taking the beating to my tansports by a direct assault as Z reportadly has 30 k troops there. isolated now for awhile....

In the next 3+ months my navel air ability, the ships not the units will triple!... I am very psyched for operation punisher...

any guesses where that one will be? ok, I will give you a hint.. it copmmences after Truk is bombed into ruble and involves multiple fleets and a willingness to directly attack the IJN..
accurate guesses will receive an all expence paid trip to the edge of reason!

Kwj and the other smaller air bases in the Gilberts, are netralized... so before the timetable origanally set we are probing there, also the first "close" to Truck base came on line, at a level one it sucks, but it can only get better, Admiralty Is. I think.. 6 divisions are marching on Rabaul... hehehehe we are quickly approaching July.. and after taking away rabual, Siador and bombing Truk into the stone age I think several new and and some refurbished cvl/cve and cv will come out and play... once Truk is nuetered I think the famed jump past Wewak into Northern NG is a likely option, and after norther NG is taken, I can pivot from northern OZ and attack into SRA, this is going to be a bitch.. all those bases.... from which he can launch strikes.. I will need to take some "under fire"...
but by Jan 44 hope to be in a position to move out of OZ, again this will be dependant on advancing in NG, and if Z comes out to stop me, well lets just remember I did sink Two of his Carriers in 05 42.. .. and now he has replaced these ,and my planes are better, my flak is better my pilots are ok, he probably has an edge there..
But I want his ships sunk.... I wonder where his BB's are?

Short list of goals
July reduce Truk capture Rabaul increase holdings in Gilberts
Aug.. Advance North into NG.. prepare to hit his "first line of IS defenses..." decide on wewake and Truk
Sept continue from above.. patch up anything in need of patching... step up sub atack against his merchies...
OCT-DEC advance and probe into areas of weakness along front bounded by southern SRA, Borneo, NG and the mid pac Islands...

JAN -JUNE 44 ATTACK in strength into Borneo and SRA.. invade Maly from India cut off his oil... mid 44 destroy his fleet, prepare to hit 2nd Islands and prepare to hit Philipens and OKINAWII, China coast
LAte 44 start to level his cities,,,

Interesting game plan... let's see how it plays out.....

Yep took it so maybe I can stop his air attacks from China. need to reduce his supply there. Not looking for an all out war just need to stop the B17's there.

ok, so now the Gilberts are secure and the ? are threatened... seems like a number of smaller bases around.....

Z raided Admiralty Island... and then vanished, he I thought we had a house rule prohibiting the use of stealth ships.... I guess when the search aircrft do not fly, I am blind.. oops

Looks like things have calmed down... a slow go for awhile until my new ships get oput, and my upgrades are done.. Rabual is facing one of over 12 units headed toward it up the dirt track...
It is taking a pounding on a dailly bases.. and I could launch an all out sea attack, but I am in no hurry as all the other parts won't be in place for some time... Siador is growing nicely as are the Gelbert bases... Admiralty Is is close to a level 2, and after RB falls, Siador and adm rb will pound Truck, may even take that other small base and pound with some twins.....

in other news I am greadilly looking at all that lovely coast Z has to protect and trying to devise a way of being nasty and getting ahold of a base to the end I can start enlarging in the SRA... just not enough fleets to protect everywhere.. and he has the "internal" lines..

sooo until later SRA stays safe haven for Z.. China is a supply battle... really need the ledo road open...

OK, China actually rivals all other areas for action as we pass the Juily 4th holiday with many drunk sailors in port as majority of the US fleet sits and waits for operational rediness, or a target hehehe
In China Z has decided to start pushing on me, doesn't like multiple sqds of b17/ wellingtons etc I have moved from India.. so it is HOT... he lost 2500 men fow in one unsuccessfull attack, and some Sallies raiding got creamed by p40's as they went in unescorted.. In China I am full of Spits and p40 n's, and see that soon my wellingtons upgrade to b24 lookalike the d7?, very very nice... again getting the ledo road open remains problematic, I just don't have the ground forces in Burma, and it is such a Bitch to move around there...
Ovewr 50 of subs used in minelaying, but after the Sept 43 torpedo upgrade many will be sent to port for needed rest and refit... after all how poorly can you lay a mine.. and then its a free for all against his merchies...

more of the same
China battle on..
and again... I remain amazed at the HUGE amount of shipping plying around.. moving supplies and seabeas, fuel and planes.. and the few seaworthy fleet units whose sailors have started recovering from the effects of the long july 4th holiday

I am building up for anouther push... and soon we will have multiple combat units in Rabaul hex, and can start to attack...
It is taking forever to get Siador up to a 5 airbase, so my lba is resting
China is again the hoit topic, with Z attacking my holding along a 1000 mile front the bases in the South are heavily invested and I would sorely miss them should they be overrun... noticing I get some more armor in India... why does that not get me too excited?
Waiting patiently for hte Wellingtons to start the upward spirel to Liberator 6... yeh,
and in San Fran repairs continue, as in PH, SD LS ST and SDN.. amazing when the fleet needs a refit it really needs a refit!
several assets have been released and the continuation of the drive into enemy held Island will commence as those two little bases Z left me South of KJLN get up to speed...
then its operation kick Truk Down and then we will be mobilizing to move northwest

just got the latest intel from the photo recon of Truck.. wow like 250 fighters there...
hope they stay for my planes to crush them... soon I will have 5 bases to hit Truk from..
not anything Z can do to stop it.... He has made several wuick runs against my fleats, but wuickly withdrew... and now that Siador is a 4 and Lae a 5,, hehe com on down.. Kind of like when Buin fell and I got a nice juicy airbase to protecrt agasinst his carriers that had been raiding ...

China is Supply hell.... Need the LEdo Road open Actually considering sending some Australian troops not doing anything in the reserves of the Pacific to India to help out there???

July is rapidly winding away... day after day and shortly RB will be assualted...
Sidor is a 4af Lea a 5 af with these three alone Truck is toast.. I will probably use some cv as couter punch now that I am again seeing them in good quantity... It is amazing what dozens of well supplied SeaBEES can do

In China Z is really screwing with me.. needed help that just won't be there in form of supplies...
India/Burma is a draw.. and no help there in the short run...
back over the 3-1 hump again... and as RB falls along with those jap troops we will move closer to 2.5-1 in cutting Z's large point lead
