Well, K's cv fleet sortiesd against RB, glad I ran away after the slap heard round the world... or at least my brain[:D][:D]

I beleive Palmyria is close to a pullout, close to no fighter cover and fewer and fewer planes destroyed on the ground with more and more runway hits.. time to bring up the big boys and do a surface bombard.. well when we for sure know where those darn Jap Cv's are... remember all you pbem noobs, japs rule in early 42... after june the us gets close to parity with longer range tdb and 6 th carrier... US.. still have those Brits in the Indian ocean to deploy where needed, but if you think you can get some milage out of them in the pacific... well the are needed if the japs get too aggressive in Indian Ocean, and they are really poor as offensive platforms due to the small number of aircraft and the relative poor quality in 42, later the quality changes and I would recomend catious release after 4 43 if all is well in Indian Ocean area....

In our game K is grinding away at PI, soon nothing left there, and he is doing great in China... but the Jap player doesn't win in CChina, he wins in SRA and the ocean campeign.. and the former he is ok, the later he is doing very well taking baker, canton and palmyria, although I believe P to be tooo far for him to effectively hold, and he will end up paying more than he gets out of that attack/conquest.

not much new today, k stayed around Raubual with his carriers hoping to get me in an overconfident position... the slapping boys are long gone though, Palmyria looks more and more hopeless for the nippo master.. China is UGLY with his troops everywhere!
Burma looks good for me with a large contigent dug in in Mandalay...
Borneo, no action yet...

It is such a joy to see poor aircraft outperforming/ or out performing! I would love some dive bombers.. and was thinking of moving a carrierswing over to SRA, but after Palmyria/ canto fell that was a no go...
and as P is no longer a working airbase by all accounts... we are moving up operation kick in the pants to immediately upon avail resources.. which really means still some time off..

It's called redeployment. I'm simply rearranging my troops to a more aesthethically pleasing pattern[:)]Something ignorant kichiku beihei would not understand[8D]

Heavy bombers from Johnston keep pounding away at the airfield at Palmyra. Sin Kep falls to the 9th NLF thus completing operation Sukoshi Tako, and freeing the 12th NLF for other yet to be determined objectives.[8|]

Nice k, redoploment all the way to the solomans.. nice push at Lunga.. I would have liked to put some troops there , but you really svrewed up my pre war plans by attacking into Canton/Palmyria...
I did manage to getthat air unit off that little Island paradise by SP and now you are marching on the big P... really want to do that? maybe you shouldwait another few months to supress all my other troops... or not?
Does the Plus bonus for your naval fighters end in April, or last through April?
Does the emperor wear clothes when he takes a royal dump?
Does your carrier fleet like to trail tankers allways?
Are you going to invade India soon?
Why dont you invade Russian held areas?

Swing music plays in the background.
Today heroic Japanese submarine torpedoed light cruiser Boise. Poor navy boys won't eat more potatoes, no more potatoes for poor navy boys. Great Japanese soldiers have occupied Jambi in Sumatra, and are advancing on Palenbang. The liberating troops are received happily by former Dutch enslaved natives. Also Sin Kep island is now part of Great Co-prosperity sphere, after cowardly Dutch oppressors surrender without a fight.
President Freeboy knows this and sends poor navyboys in ships to be sunk by glorious Japanese piolets.
We will resume music (Glenn Miller plays on background) so you be happy when you surrender to Japanese army

[8|]I am not that good at playing Tokyo Rose[8|]

almost worth the damaged ship to see those darn nippos falling out of the sky

K is still attacking without his carriers, I keep hoping to see them in SRA so operations in Palmyria, which will comence 5 1 regardless if not sooner... can go forward... I just don't want to be in the middle of moving troops against P and see 8 CA and 4 BB and 3-6 cvl cv attacking and sinking my ships with my only recorse to commit cv with next to useless tpd devastators.. sooooo Please move those cv's at Truk, or where ever into Sra Borneo and support your forces there and I will be a happy player.. or not?
Z is thrilled he actually got planes off the ground at Palmyria, the 24s where scheduled to raid the port , now they are back to hitting the airfields, and my thoughts are.. go ahead.. leave me some targets there ... put all you Zeros there and all your Beties, and guess what.. they will still be toast... slice of Palmyria pie anyone?
"Tanks forward"
