Would it be possible...

Post by CriticalMass »

...to add an indication as what unit is being fired on, in the strategic map?

Maybe a the unit could flash yellow: this could be linked to the ubit writing to its log file when it's "Under fire", "Being" Bombarded", "Taking casualties", et al.

The reason I ask now, is that the only time I get to "play" HTTR is when I'm at work [:-], with a laptop running HTTR, next to my Desktop, running boring stuff.

By the time I look up at the sound of fighting it's either too late to scroll the map (and anyway it's a bit too obvious when I dive at the laptop [;)]). Even with the main map zoomed out, it's not always obvious where the engagement is.

Anyway thanks for listing, to my thoughts (if that's possible [&:])

And also a "boss key" so you can minimize the game without quiting.

There's already a Minimise button in the game - it's on the Game tab. Alt-tab will work as well. Just make sure you pause the game first or it'll keep running (hitting the Space bar is a quick way to do this).

The ultimate "boss key" is to run the game in a window camouflaged as an Excel spread sheet [;)]

CriticalMass,

I agree it would be a nice feature and I have added it to the Wish List. Yes it is possible but it's unlikely to make it into COTA, maybe for BFTB. I'm trying to finish off all new features so we can lock down the product for final beta testing. People keep asking me when it is going to be released. [:)]

No problem on BFTB: I know we are working towards RFAS [:D]
