I am not sure when the updates will be released, but changes are being made and tested. The DOS memory requirements will be reduced slightly, but if you are having problems now, you will probably continue having problems, just not as often. However, you should be able to eliminate all or most memory problems if you follow the advice in the "Memory problem on Win98" thread started by Grisha. Use

device=c:\windows\himem.sys
dos=high,umb

That seems to be working for everyone that tries it.
