Database Question Round II

Post by scout1 »

OK,

Two more questions concerning the database. For ships and leaders (at least) there is a field titled "delay". The data is a 6 digit number. Now I assuming that

a) This is the date of availability and
b) The 6 digit format is YYMMDD

So, 431212 would be Dec. 12, 1943.

Is this correct ?

Yes, Yes. See p.17 of the editor manual.

0 or a date before the scenario date means it's available at the start, 9999 means it won't appear in the scenario.

BTW, your example is ambigious with the 2 12s, but it is YYMMDD. [;)]

Thanks Bodhi ! Yeah, my example could have been better.....

BTW, Did you ever get your utility live on W2000 ? Works fine on my XP, but also get an exception on W2000.

Also if the delay date IS the start of the scenario, it will appear as a reinforcement during the first turn.
