Novice with a question

Matrix Games and Simulations Canada combine and completely remake two classic NATO vs. Warsaw Pact wargames into a new classic. Based on the original wargames “Main Battle Tank: North Germany” and “Main Battle Tank: Central Germany”, Flashpoint Germany is a new grand tactical wargame of modern combat. Every aspect of modern grand tactical warfare is included, from advanced armor, air and helicopters to chemical and tactical nuclear weapons. Step into the most dangerous war.. . that never was.

Novice with a question

Post by jblank »

On the units, there are 2 numbers, an example is 5-8 on A Plt/A Company/1st Staff. I know that the 5 is the total number of units, but I cant seem to figure out what the 8 is. Can someone inform me? I am afraid I am missing out on something, and would like to know.

Thanks in advance!!!

It's the movement rating of the unit. To be honest, I'm not sure how it pans out in terms of gameplay. Does a movement rating of 8 mean 8 squares (or 4kms)? I don't really know...but it is the movement rating of the units.
