Forgive me if this common knowledge, but is Matrix going to develop these operational games?(such as add AI. . . and integrate them with Spwaw) - and until then, is there a place I can get a password/key to play the shareware?

Haven't heard anything about games like that from Matrix (or scenarios). I think they're pretty busy on War in the Pacific right now.
As for password/key to shareware are you talking about Pacific War/War in Russia/ SPWaW?
In that case you shouldn't need any password/key. Just download , install and play.

We are working on a new expanded version right now of Operation Typhoon. More details are coming soon.... heck we should even have some screen shots.

Well, since you're being so talkative, Image is a WiR remake or a grand strategy WWII European theatre game being planned?

Hi Ed

I will not say if we are or are not working on those games now. The reason is so much changes that until a full team is commited to a game project we will not make it official. I will say that these are subjects that Matrix does plan to work now but no time table has been made.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded Typhoon, Mayala, etc. and each one is limited to thirty uses in the unregistered form. The registration information told me that to my delight, that the game has been sold to my pals at Matrix. That's the one I need - And it would seem reasonable to keep the password page open since that will allow the public to keep playing the game and thus keep interest up. I am a big fan of the work Matirx does - and I would love to see what the boys in the lab could do to an operational game.

Speaking of which, when are we going to get some kind of update on the WitP website. A little teaser to burn the bulletin board, actually any update on whatever topic you desire. Mike
