Status of 2.2 upgrade?

Just wondering how close we are to release of version 2.2.....soon? (hope, hope!)

This question has been posted a number of times and no answer from the folks at Matrix has been forthcoming. A month or so ago I recall reading that it was soon. I thought it would have been available shortly after the last Pacific War update, I was wrong. One thing is certain, whenever this patch is released one shouldn't expect any more.

It should be out before the end of January, assuming no more big bugs poke their heads out. We thought we were playtesting the release build a few weeks ago, but found 2-3 fairly serious bugs (early Soviet reinforcements again for one, but not like in the first update at least). Then the programmer took a 2 week vacation and just returned this week. So a week to fix things, 1-2 weeks to test and out it should go.

Victor is right - probably no more major updates after this, but there probably will still be bug fixes.
P.S. I don't work for Matrix - just a volunteer playtester, so this could easily change.
