Post by David Heath »

Hello

WiR fans, the WiR development team has done it again and are just about ready to release WiR v3.0. You can expect the release later on this week. I will release more information early this week.

David.

Why is it called 3.0 instead of 2.2?

Because the programmer has a thing for big numbers to the left of the decimal point?

Perhaps if you would ask nicely....remember this is for free. I, for one, am appreciative for all of the hard work this team has done on this old classic game. I believe I echo the sentiments of many folks who wish to thank the Matrix team for their dedication. Now, is there an update on when we might see the new version 3.0?

That's right be nice here. These guys have gone to a lot of time and trouble on their own to do this for us. And I really want to thank all of you At Matrix for it. Espeacially want to thank David. THANK YOU DAVID!!! I Would also like to thank all the playtesters for hepling out with hints and insight into how the game works i.e. Rick and Ed. This is probably the best wargame web site out there and I'm happy I found it.

Now where is the UPADTE DATE!!!!

Hi Guys

I am sorry the release is late... it is fully ready expect one last check through. I been sick and not yet fully back on feet. My wife is now sick and the kids are all mine so I been really short on time. Ok enough of my whining. I am working on the site and downloads files now. If I am lucky I should have them up by this weekend if not I will have them for Monday.

David Heath.

David,
Take care of yourself, and don't let a little thing like this get in the way of important things like family & health. When it's out, it'll be out.

On the download site, they say 3.0 has been released, but the links are not updated yet... neither is the game on the FTP site, but any minute now... oh, the sweet agony of anticipation... Image
