loosing my joystick

Hi I bought starshatter yesterday and it looks a good game so far. However It keeps loosing my joystick??? I will be flying for a few minutes and all is fine then the joystick throttle and rudder all go dead. My HOTAS set up works in all other games and even if I Alt tab out of starshatter control panel says the stick etc is all fine but I need to quit the game and re enter it to get the game to re recognize my stick.

I'm glad you mention this, because I bought the game this week and have experienced similar concerns with the throttle controls, only I'm using the mouse configuration. I'll be going along fine and then nothing... even the 'A' and 'Z' keys don't work. The only thing that works at this point are the 'Home' and 'End' keys. I'm not sure this is the same problem, but it sure seems like it. Hopefully we'll find out!
