Nothing beats a cows tongue for breakfast. But I love it. Will not sit in the same room as liver and onions though. That is just nasty.
You've never had liver 'til ya had it fresh from a hog...we'd just throw it in the ashes and cover it up and let it cook. It's like a juicy steak...store bought liver ain't got nuthin' on it...[:D]

Let me put it as simple as I can.

If you do want all the fixes in 1.5 (of which there are many) and the new features in 1.5 (of which there are many) upgrade and start new games.

If you want to continue an old game, do so and upgrade later.

If you want to do both, install War in the Pacific twice on your machine and upgrade.

I would expect you to have a steep learning curve on 1.5 and also some time for the modders to catch up. The number of options and the penalties for mistakes have gone up. Spend some time understanding the changes and their impacts.

A good example of this is transports loosing cargo when damaged ... no more slamming ships into a landing knowing they will unload even at 99% damage. You'll actually have to plan your landings and not bank on the fact that your guys will swim to shore.

Mr. Frag

Is there any chance of getting a quick list of just bugs to be fixed in the 1.5 patch?

How many are these are being addressed?

1. Leader Bug.
2. Ohkas not working.
3. Bases not changing ownership.
4. NightFighter Cash Bug (workaround - turn off combat animation)
5. Saved Game Cash Bug. (workaround - wait 10 sec before exiting save game screen).

If I hear once more leader bug, I'm going to snap ... about 7 separate and unique leader bugs have already been fixed and there are still more being hunted. (another one just this morning from Michael) [:D]

I can see it now ... "thats all you fixed? leader bug and this other stuff? What where you doing, sleeping?" [8|]

I don't normally get into the nitty gritty of what will and will not get fixed because there is always something that you say is fixed and turns out to not be fixed as it is a new variation of what did get fixed.

As to Ohka's, what was your beef with them, stuff has been done in that area, but it might not be what *you* wanted done so I can't say fixed [;)]

Save game ... machine & operating system dependant, learn some self control and give it a 5 count. I have yet to hear *anyone* say that this did not fix them.

Nightfighter has been fixed twice ... does that mean it's fixed?

Bases ... thats open to intepretation too.

One of the things you learn with bugs, just because you fixed one doesn't mean there isn't another right beside it doing the same thing.

- What about land movement bugs? LCUs unable to move...
- Catapult movement - will this be fixed in an official patch?

This ain't broken, it is working as designed. Has been discussed before. To fix it, use Andrew Brown's map data file mod. This is a great mod that KOs this annoyance and a few other minor map inconsistencies.

What will the effect be, if you upgrade to 1.5 in a AI game? Will it be a game breaker?

Found it vexing!!! And the evil smiles she'd toss my way...my mom liked to cook an endless variety of stuff and I'd worry sometimes. Mint meatballs were one of her biggest flubs![:D]

1. Leader Bug.
All you can do is fix it, test it and hope it's really fixed.[:D]

2. Ohkas not working.
Ohka's haven't worked from day one of release. Just look at the max load of the Betty2e and load of Ohka's. Even if you edit the data, they still don't work!

Ohka load 2646
G4m2e Betty max load 2205

3. Bases not changing ownership.
Some bases don't change ownership, this has been well documented in the support threat.

4. NightFighter Cash Bug (workaround - turn off combat animation)
The NightFighter Cash Bug has been there from day of the release. I've never seen anything in the notes of released patches where this has been fixed!

5. Saved Game Cash Bug. (workaround - wait 10 sec before exiting save game screen).[/quote]
This started right after the 1.4 patch!

All I want is a patch that address the bugs!

Ohka load 2646
G4m2e Betty max load 2205

Not to nit pick, but you read more into things by looking at stuff in editors then is really there. [;)]

The Okha & G4M2e fly together at the code level. The code doesn't care about load values unless it's told to care about load values. The only problem with Okha's that I am aware of is the fact you have a really tough time hitting the broad side of the planet with one ... they are not too accurate (but that was the historical problem too).

The bug that prevented them from *showing* on G4M2e's and prevented the *produced* numbers from working have both been fixed. That has nothing to do with your load weight which is not a bug.

Jalapeno anything is great. I eat the suckers straight from the jar. I make a mean jalapeno spaghetti. Eat them on pizza, hamburgers, cheese dip, and anything else that sounds good at the moment.

Liver is just gross. Yeck.

Ah, a man who knows good food. I go through jar after jar of pickled jalapeno peppers - sliced, diced, and whole. I believe they were invented as a measure of how long it takes for food to go through the human body (they're just as hot coming out as they were going in, I find).

Yeah. Amen to liver and all other internal organs (by this I include internal organs that are actually external, like penises and testicles).
Put my faith in the people
And the people let me down.
So, I turned the other way,
And I carry on anyhow.

In what version was this fixed?
