Saving original teams

If I made a team from scratch based on an historic team, would I be able to save that team somewhere to use over and over, plugging it in to different leagues in its original form? For instance, I create the 1976 Raiders, and a number of other old teams, and I want to keep running new leagues using the teams I create. Can this be done?
