Several Questions

Several questions:
1. I have the habit of placing several flak and at least one infantry division with my HQ units...for some reason as time goes on they seem to disappear from the HQ...what gives?
2. How does one protect against Allied air raids on Germany...can you put flak in the industrial cities? Where should the air units go?

The leader of the HQ will send these units as reinforcements to units in battle. If you want them in the HQ, you need to transfer them back, once you track down where they went.

Your cities are already protected by flak through off-map weapons. Adding flak units will not help as they will not fire against these bombers. You need air units assigned to the West, Italian, and OKH and OKW HQs. Units assigned here will get extra range in protecting the Reich. The Fw190 is the best plane for stopping the bombers, but you will need whatever you can use.

I have been having problems with German air defense. Air units in OKH, West Front and Italian Front will intercept at full strength except during non-clear turns when they are at reduced strength. But air units in OKW intercept with a maximum of 30 strength if I'm lucky. Usually it is much less, and Berlin is getting pounded. I get the same results when trying to defend Ploesti. I have an HQ there but only 3-4 fighters per air gruppen show up to defend the oil industry. Needless to say Ploesti is also taking a beating.

Switch from Cap to Escort. I thought that bug had been fixed but am experiencing the same thing with version 3.0.
