Matrix took this one last year too (according to computer games magazine) with Battles in Normandy. Good track record. I see this as a stiff 3 way competition with Hearts of Iron 2 and Strategic Command 2. Although, they did separate RTS games from TBS games this year for the first time, so HOI2 may be in a separate category.

Yeah HOI 2 is RTS cause Crusader Kings was placed in RTS. RTW shoulda been placed in RTS also. When 2/3rds of the game is RTS it's an RTS game to me and the SP battles are RTS and the multiplayer game is all RTS. Matrix got screwed this year by opinionated individuals who didn't go with what the "market" called these games. RTW is billed as an RTS game.
