Rest and Recop from Assults

I was wondering, for those of you playing the Allies. Once you’ve taken a base, and the war’s moved on, where do you take your assult troops to rest and get rebuilt? PH, OZ, etc. Or do you use the Canal - and like places- like it was historically?

The closest non malaria base with good support and supplies. In the central pacific, early on is Pearl, Kwajalein once I take it, then Guam for closer to Japan. In the south Noumea even though it is farther away. In the SW, Oz is the place; plenty of beer and the natives are rather nice also[:D]
