"British surrender in Afrika"

Post by ollittm »

Well, how about it?

Most of the time I have 2:1 force in Afrika due to weirdness in HQ force level calculations (you can have ~1200 points, add ONE infantry div and it goes up to 2500) ..

IMHO Rommel would've murdered allies if he had had that kind of superiority in numbers.

Oh, by the way. I held on to Moscow for winter -41. Now that the rains stop in July, it'll be all over. Mind you, ejecting those boys who had been digging in around moscow all winter has been more problematic than I thought.

Barleyman,

There is a bug in the Italian and West front calculations. When you save and restart, the graphics number is divided by 2 but the actual numbers used for calculations are correct. If you look at that number right after the combat phase it will be correct and if right after you restart you add or remove ground units it will usually be correct. So by adding a single infantry division, you in effect see double the old number plus the addition of the new unit. Also try loading a saved game where the number is 1/2 and do an Alt 'X' command and load the same save game, the number should double and be correct.
