European distrubution?

How widespread will this game be in Europe? I live Sweden but I can't seem to find any store who has this game listed. Also, wil we have to waith months before it hits retail stores in Europe?

Can someone clear this up for me please?

I'm sure they do, but at the moment I can find no sign of a UK release either, so I wouldn't feel too left out.

We are still working on the exact European stores and release dates (and yes, we do know that Europe extends beyond the UK and will post them here. I expect there will be some delay, hopefully weeks rather than months.

As I posted in the other thread, we will also have a digital download option available on the release date.

This is just an idea. Is it possible to have a digital download with the possibility of having a printed manual mailed to a home. This way, you get the best of both worlds. You get the game when you want it via DD and then you get a printed manual. (would be cheaper for most home users to order it this way then to print 270 pages like in WITP)

In the US you can use Kinkos print on demand to print it and have sent to your door for about the same price (or less) than we can do it. If you can pick it up yourself its WAY cheaper (like under 5 bucks).

Yes, our online store has a European warehouse, which ships from within the EU. No extra duties and much lower shipping costs than the old option of shipping it from the US. This applies to all our current in stock titles and our "game on demand/physical shipment" options for our newer titles. World At War is a special case but we are finalizing the European retail arrangements for that to make sure it will be readily available as well.

As someone who has used this option twice, I HIGHLY recommend it. The two best manuals I own in terms of binding and printing quality are WITP and KP both spiral bound at Kinkos.

This was one of my big gripes about HOI2, they would not distribute the manual in PDF format. So I was stuck with their manual printed on flimsy magazine paper in 4 pt. font with an abscuring background and no index. The content of the manual was very good but the printing quality was horrible. Luckily, I have good eyes but I'm sure there were many whou couldn't even read it.

Has been so since months (!) . We actually announced it on the forums and the main page. Another case of "please do not read your fav subforum only" [;)]

You know, even here things develop and adjust to customer demands [;)][:D]
