All those from the Mike’s list are done. I’ve just sent 5 last to him… so it looks like all new CHS aircraft are there…

Subchaser, love what you've done especially the C46 as the one Matrix put in looks like the Partridge Family bus.

Hi guys I am working on the map panels the Andrew sent out trying to achieve a less distracting look to the large concrete blockers that are required to keep enemy shipping and air at bay from the new bases
when I first saw them I felt that they distracting to what was being achieved, this is no way a reflection on what Andrew has done which is extrordinary. so here is what I have come up with.
Let me know if this is workable - at this stage I have only done the Aden base area - needed a while to work out what to do

1 Andrews example 1

I have to say I like the original look better. the Concrete blockers enforce a no pass zone. Your map, while good, will on day one generate a lot of "Why do my ships take a funky route?" questions, because its really not standing out those hexes are blocked. While it may not be astetically pleasing, I say leave them in.

I also say (at least for what is released with the mod) leave the waves out on the water. This is supposed to be a map on a plotting table, not a satelite image. I have never seen any WW2 era maps where the oceans had waves.

Just my 2 cents.

I am not taking the blocks out just presenting an alternative
Ignore the wave its just the area I was working in last night doing same treatment on andrews
wave effect is just my personal preferance
as to funky routing the outline of the shipping lanes still standout using the coral striping. As far as the game goes you dont actualy need anything showing on the map the ships know were there going and the troops would get used to it.

The Galapagos Islands? Hey, can we include the HMS Surprise and the Acheron? Sorry, I love that movie.

Right on, Andrey. Are you planning on making a new pa;et for the official scenarios?

Is it also possible to cut and paste some of your wonderful aircraft artwork into a Uncommon Valor package as UV isn't quite dead yet!!

I have made up a Japanese side art file for my own use but the Allied art still has a few holes in it. It's almost enough to make you want to play the other side (almost....)

Thankyou.
Cheers,
Reg.
