After we get Manado cleaned up, Z will doubtleess run for cover again, leaving the underside of the SRA exposed, and totally vulnerable... I am hoping to get several bases in early 44 to further the expansion into the SRA/PI
remember there is a free game contest for the person who guesses the most invaded bases correct... last base attacked Babo.. last in sequence.. Wewak, Morotia, manado Soranga Babo

Manado FALLS In a valient attack against weakened Jap defenders, two marine Diviaions and 16 other units attacked today and took the Major port base Near PI and Borneo...
Mac is pleased, and all the troops involved get a well deserved rest to reprovision before the mop up of the few remaining defenders traped near the edge of the base...
Five strong jap SNLF inf units and Five Base support units where trapped here... and the destrustion of these units makes me proud.. MAc was qouted.

as JAn rolls around.. Manilla part two is being planned, while the forward motion of attacking against SRA remains a high priority...
The 4the MArine Division recently sailed from San Fransisco.. and a strong multi divisional
operational group supported by our new super BB's the Iawo and the Missouri may be involved in some upcoming raids/attacks.. codenamed operation remember pearl

Press corp members where invited to view the area in the SRA under consideration for attack, and one was asked the ?.... Where are all the Jap BB's... one only wonders , and shudders[:-]

this is an old dated pix, with some scribbbles.. but one can easily see that now that Manado has fallen.. all the area is within range of LBA.. and Jap must flee .. or not! if he stays though those bases are the first targeted

reminder for contest for a free game .. ? three is now ongoing.. post answers here or in main forum

YEH, we made it to 1944!.. MAnado is being consolidated, Baobo has no more nippo, Solong is being set up... as soon as we get some more ships out of dry dock and the airbase is usable at manado, lepfrog starts a crookin'.. how do you spell the sound a frog makes?

So, I noted severl large ship, possibly Z's remaining carriers and some BB's for good measure in the area around Manilla.. hum, maybe we should luaunch operation Manilla vinilla shake part two soon

Yes we have reached 44 and I have a bad feeling about stopping him, but on another note I have noticed weird things with my AM5 pools, I am afraid it may be a leak. This happened to me and Dude so I hope it does not happen to our game. I am asking pretty please don't be the case.

Well we are still having a problem with my AM5's disapearing. But I am playing on at this point. I have turned off all AM5 factories and still keep losing them hope this can get fixed becasue it sucks.

I posted it on the proper page and have not heard a word from anyone yet, or a post from anyone yet. It is a well documinted post of what is going on.

I went back and looked at the support forum and you post was not there, at least not there going back to Feb 7 05. I think its an important issue you might either repost or bump it.

There are two attacks underway, those screenies have been removed for security purposes, although it is tempting to tip the hand and see Z's response...
any idea why he had cl and BB and some dd in Sulu Sea? maybe a intervention agains a troops group? no idea myself, unless he was feeling lucky about raiding my new bases, against 500 plus planes? no I think not...

I was hoping to hit an invasion convoy, around Davao, then I forgot the ships were there, oh well thats war. On another note I think I have fixed the AM5's I am now gaining in my pool instead of losing, but the groups that were to come did and all came as AM2 now instead of AM5's. The bad thing is they say they upgrade to AM8's and I have 7 AM2's in the pool And I can not switch any factories to the 2's becasue the next turn they convert to AM5's. So we will see how this plays out. I have taken a toll on his subs in the last couple of turns, but more of his subs are starting to hit home.

Weel the AM5's began disapearing again this last turn, so the game I am playing trying to figure this out for the masses is one again.
