If any of the 3 potential Japanese resigns, I will be happy to join the Japanese team. I'm an experienced Bushido warrior.

I will try to not invade Australia in this game, but since someone said there are 4 women for one man here, all my subordonates want to go there.

If any resign? I'm not sure we have any Japanese at the moment that can resign.

As for the invasion of Australia, we know you won't try it because it isn't part of the now completed Allied war plan. According to our plan, you will advance no farther than Rabaul, will be held at Akyab and Mandalay, and will obligingly lose all but two CVs by August 31, 1942. If you don't agree to fit into that plan, I'm not sure we want you! [;)]

I think I fit nicely in your plan. In all my UV experience I have always fought with less CV than my opponent. If I have more than him my Bushido spirit inspires me and I will split my force and lose most of my CVs...

The end result is that I am now really trained to play without CVs. I played three big UV campains up to may to september 1943: all of them starting from a former game where I lose 4 CV and 2 CVL in 1942 and US lost none and the Allied player should stop end of Nov 1942 due to family reason. I had only 2 fleet CVs after August 31, 1942.

WITP is not the same game but I'm sure my delaying tactics will work roughly the same. I have not yet played a PBEM past January 1942 (and not yet lost a CV in PBEM too).

House rules

Maybe it's time to set the house rules for turn 1, this could be helpful in planning strategies mostly for the poor Japanese players.......
