I wasn't sure what to expect in regards to this game but I downloaded it anyway.
The game seems to go way to fast,I'm used to playing Steel Panthers WAW where the action can stop or freeze,so you can observe the battlefield closely.
In this game there just seems to be a continuous parade of pop up windows displaying
unit totals,casulties.etc.
And finally a srceen displaying the end results.

I have to be missing something?

you miss DELAY option which can be called by pressing 'd' key. Usualy LOW delay is enough. Chose LOW display also. It will show you minimal of microdetails.

I thought display meant quality of video image.
