do you mean.. how did we advance into the game so far? playing a lot at work :) I work from home and Z teaches.. Allies are advancing, but I a have paid a HUGE price for the pace in planes.... he still has over a two to one lead in points... And I lost 5 carriers to 2 in 42, so I was really hurting for navy air for awhile,

The advance was a series of starts and stops, solomons and Gilberts, then advance on Rabual, then back to NG, up the coast.. and so on.. lots in the threads above to puruse.. major attacks in the last 5 months.. into Morotai Menado Bornoe and Akyab, and now into the Maly pensula, attempting at lest to releive pressure at Mandaly and get out of the worst of Burma.. as I have a huge advantage in planes ..

Well, not hitting that one last base is costing me, Bankock clobered the first wave, and his mini me, cv group got to mine before I could hit his, so its off to port for my Brit Carriers..
Looks like the side of Borneo faceing NG is empty.. the NEXT attack fro the contest is TARAKAN.. one point to the correct answer!...
I ended up with 0 strikes against his carriers! AURGH! enen though several hundred sorties where sceduled..

what a biotch.. reminds me of early 43 when everything went south! Borneo is another story , at least till this point .. remember easy guese as only two bases are really possible in the next round of the contest.. winner gets a free game btw

My troops are now completely retreated or destroyed in Maly attack, bu I have started crossing the rivver into Z held Burm near Rangoon, and I have a HUGE advantage in men and tanks and art and planes there ... if I could just get them to a base with a good port...[:-]

My carriers played havoc with his mayla landings. Then I got a few hits on one of his carriers and a BB. Planes are still playing havoc with me and when I think I have it figuried out it starts over again. In the end it won't stop me from finishing this game, but I need a few more game weeks to try to figure it out. He tried to bomb Bangkok but my best pilots left are there and are giving him so trouble. Trying to strengthin my forces every where it is hard to get them there.

I wish the carriers in port for repairs where all 100% and I could steam into Singapore and say.. ok, show me what you got.. unfortunately my deathstar is lots of little bitty cvl/cve and a few cv in one large multi tf,, amazed at the number and it seems to grow on a daily basis.. We should have some more cv battles soon

ok, the next base in op leapfrog.. or OL is Samerinda? or however you smell it along the coast of Borneo..
my stupid commander in Burma accedentally reset 20 days of marching orders, he is now cleaning latrines in the poorest getto in the worst city in the commenwealth!

So, Burma is crap city for anything soon

Borneo should progress nicely as Z has not placed anything noteworthy there, like they could stop 8 divisions and 20 other units plus cv and lba support overrunning them.. maybe after Borne we should invade China and relieve those pethetic supply lines?

ok the front is settling into the typical grinder, yet Z has so little in front of me here it shouldn't take too long.. things in the central pacific are calm.. Burma is calm.. landed some more troops in the Rangoon area.. IT WILL FALL! after we get Rangoon it will be interesting to see the large scall warfare as I can attack all the way past Tavoy and Vic Point and not get the dreaded Kami's!!!
Java anyone?
