Is the new updated version out yet or not?
I have been in hospital for the past two weeks so I do not know.

No, it has not been released yet. Arnaud is sending a newer version this week to test, but I am not sure what all is being changed. The latest test version, in my opinion, made the German job too easy, as I made it to mid-September playing both sides and Leningrad was ready to fall, 5 massive panzer korps are within 4-5 hexes of Moscow at SL 4, Kiev, Rzhev and Vyazma have all fallen, etc. The Germans have about 30% more squads, double artillery/AT/Flak, near equality in AFVs and planes, etc. There is almost no way the Soviets could hold out with their low experience (experience was lowered in this test version to be closer to history, while replacements are not high enough to build units up). We will know more later about what is going on with the update.

sounds pretty mean. I would not like to play Russian in such a game.
Good luck Arnaud.
